The compact Platinum PLC150 centre-channel speaker extends the considerable
versatility of the Platinum series as a premium choice for system building in
every room. Sharing the radical materials, processes and production techniques
of its Platinum range counterparts, this condensed version of the PLC350 is
supremely esoteric in nature, and will set new standards of aesthetic quality
and performance in any high-quality multi-channel system. However, in utilising
two 6.5" RDT® bass/mid-range drivers astride a C-CAM® high frequency ribbon
transducer, the PLC150’s design is custom-tuned by Monitor Audio’s engineers to
blend perfectly with the PL100 and PL200’s neutral tonal balance and accurate,
dynamic sound. Complementing these speakers in a Platinum system for smaller
environments, the PLC150 will create a seamless front sound stage distinguished
by wonderfully precise dialogue, life-like speed and pin-sharp imaging. A
dedicated two pillar stand for the PLC150 is available to provide straight or
angled installation for the optimum listening position.
